I am studying LCT Pegmatites in NW Scotland, within the Lewisian Gneiss Complex.

I am exploring the relationship between the source region of pegmatites and the emplacement depth to understand the processes that control the degree of fractionation of these bodies, and therefore the factors controlling the enrichment of pegmatites with respect to incompatibles of interest, including lithium.
